“A good story can imbibe the right values in the most impressionable age.” Keeping this in mind, Indian School Sohar organised a Story Telling Competition for UKG on 29th January 2024.
The tiny tots of UKG participated in the competition enthusiastically and created an atmosphere of excitement among the audience.
The competition helped to build confidence in children. It enabled to develop their imagination as well as speaking and listening skills. It provided a platform for fun and happy learning allowing the children to present their stories with expressions and voice modulations.
The competition not only encouraged the students to showcase their talents but also recognized their efforts and achievements.
The competition was well coordinated by Ms. Dipti Baliga.
The judges Ms. Santy Manish, Mr. Muneeshwara Moorthy and Ms.Saima Ahmed applauded the students for their perfomances.
The winners of the competition are:
First position – Nafeesathul Misiriya (UKG- Daffodil)
Second position – Mohammed Ahil (UKG – Daffodil) & Sai Advik Santhosh, (UKG – Daffodil)
Third Position – Swasti Jigneshkumar Radadia(UKG – Orchid) & Darren Elijah Fernandes (UKG – Orchid)
