“A COLORFUL JOURNEY OF CREATIVITY: CLAY MODELLING COMPETITION”

21-02-2024

Playing with clay is an activity that helps in the development of pre-primary students in several ways. It nurtures a child’s creativity, boosts imagination, and imbibes self-confidence. The touch and feel of clay have a naturally relaxing quality. By pressing, squeezing, poking, and reshaping the clay into different shapes, improves a child’s motor skills.

Keeping the above in mind “Clay Modelling Competition” was held at Indian School Sohar on 26.11.2023 for kindergarten section. The main aim was to nurture the budding artists of tomorrow, giving them a chance to express their imagination through the malleable medium of clay.

The theme for the competition was “Things Found at Home” for LKG students and “Healthy and Junk Food” for UKG students.
