The Junior Inter-House Sports Competition took place on the 20th and 21st of August 2023 at Indian School Sohar. This event brought together students from the four houses, each proudly wearing their respective house color t-shirts: Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow. The participants displayed high levels of enthusiasm as they engaged in various sporting events.
The Junior Sports Competition featured a range of athletic activities, including badminton, cricket, football, and basketball. These events not only promoted physical activity but also encouraged teamwork, skill development, and a sense of healthy competition among the students.
The event was officially inaugurated by the Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma. In her opening remarks, she inspired the young sportspersons to give their best efforts and demonstrate good sportsmanship. The Vice-Principal, Mr. Yashvir Singh, and the Assistant Vice -Principal, Ms. Indira Sukumaran, extended their best wishes to all the participants, emphasizing the role of sports in nurturing character and discipline.
The competitions served as an outstanding platform for the students to showcase their athletic abilities, collaborate as a team, and exhibit a spirit of fair play. The event undoubtedly created lasting memories for everyone involved, fostering a sense of camaraderie and instilling important life skills in the participants.
