On May 31st, 2023, the English Department of Indian School Sohar organized an English Paragraph Writing Competition for students in classes VI-VIII. The competition was held under the guidance of Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma and Head of the English Department Ms. Divya Johari. The goal of the competition was to promote effective writing skills and encourage students to practice and develop their cognitive abilities.
The students showcased their writing skills effectively and expressed their writing ability. They gained knowledge and improved their communication skills also with this activity. They participated enthusiastically and gained confidence to refine their ideas in writing. The competition was judged on the basis of content, organization and relevance, creativity, grammar, and vocabulary.
The Principal, Vice-Principal, Assistant Vice-Principal, and Head of the English Department at Indian School Sohar congratulated and appreciated all the participants for their performance in the Paragraph Writing Competition. The In-charge Ms. Regina Pasam and all the English teachers were also appreciated for their teamwork in organizing the event.
The students who participated in the Paragraph Writing Competition gave a tight competition to each other.
