Indian School Sohar witnessed an atmosphere of excitement, unity, and sporting spirit as students gathered for a watch party to support Oman national cricket team during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup match held on 12 February 2026 between the National Cricket Teams of Oman and Sri Lanka. The event was coordinated by the Physical Education Department in collaboration with Oman Cricket.
Students and teachers cheered enthusiastically, holding colorful placards displaying “4s” and “6s.” Every boundary and wicket was celebrated with loud cheers, creating an electrifying and energetic atmosphere throughout the match.
It was truly a memorable experience for the students to watch the match together and enjoy the gathering. The initiative not only strengthened school spirit but also promoted sportsmanship, unity, and a deeper appreciation for international cricket.
