Indian School Sohar conducted an orientation programme for the students of Std. VIII on 1st Dec. 2014 to acquaint the students with PSA. PSA will greatly assist learners in acquiring higher order thinking skills such as Problem Solving and Decision Making. PSA is introduced in ISS for Std. VIII so that students get an idea of the assessment so as to be ready for PSA Exam carried out by CBSE Board in Std. IX.
The orientation programme enabled the students to have an idea about the kind of questions they are going to deal with and the right approach they should develop. The different areas assessed, i.e. Language Conventions, Quantitative Reasoning and Qualitative reasoning, were explained in detail.

The orientation programme left the students well equipped so that they achieve good results in the coming PSA which will be conducted in January 2015.
