An Adolescence Education Programme was organized at Indian School Sohar on 18.02.15 for the girls of Std. VII and VIII. Dr. Gomathy , Gynecologist , Lifeline Hospital, Sohar was the resource person. She enlightened the students with a very educative session on “Puberty and the problems”. She emphasized the importance of healthy diet. The students were advised to take the changes positively in their stride and consult a doctor in case of any problem.
Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma in her address stressed the need for proper cleanliness and hygiene. Supervisor Mrs. Indira expressed gratitude and thanked the resource person for imparting scientific knowledge and for satisfying queries of the students.
