01-05-2024

An effective orientation programme is essential for students to embark on a successful academic journey. It serves as a vital introduction to the institution's rules, procedures, and academic standards. A well-planned orientation programme was organized on 24th April 2024 for the students of classes VI to VIII.

The code of conduct, a framework outlining expected behavior and fostering a safe learning environment, was thoroughly elucidated by Assistant Vice-Principal, Mrs. Indira Sukumaran. Additionally, the evaluation scheme, a fundamental aspect of academic assessment, was comprehensively discussed. This included various evaluation methods encompassing both scholastic and co-scholastic domains, such as exams, assignments, and extracurricular activities. Moreover, the grading system and criteria for successful course completion were outlined to provide clarity to the students. The session fostered an interactive environment, allowing students to pose questions and seek clarification on any aspect.

In essence, the orientation programme effectively acquainted students with institutional norms, nurtured a secure and respectful learning environment, and established well-defined performance expectations. Its meticulous planning and effective communication contributed to a positive commencement of the academic journey.
