On 15th April 2025, a group of girls from Yazid Al Hawa Senior School Sohar accompanied by their teacher, visited Indian School Sohar as part of an academic exchange initiative. The visit focused on fostering collaboration, creativity, and mutual learning between students of both schools.
As part of their project on Entrepreneurship, the Al Hawa students delivered an impressive presentation to the Class XI Commerce students of Indian School Sohar. They showcased a variety of handmade products such as scented candles and gift bags, which they had crafted themselves. In addition, they shared their experiences in marketing these products through digital platforms and social media, offering practical insights into real-world business strategies.
Mrs. Sanchita Verma, Principal of Indian School Sohar, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the visiting students and teacher from Yazid Al Hawa. She praised their creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurial vision, and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting practical learning and intercultural understanding. She also emphasized the value of continued collaboration between schools for the holistic development of students.
The session sparked engaging discussions and served as a valuable opportunity for academic exchange, encouraging innovation, teamwork, and cross-cultural learning. Both schools look forward to more such collaborative efforts in the future.
