A Professional Development Programme was conducted on 4th October 2025 at Indian School Sohar on the topic Emotional Intelligence. The session was attended by teachers from Indian School Buraimi, Indian School Muladha, Indian School Rustaq, Indian School Saham, and Indian School Sohar.
The programme was facilitated by Mr. Mirza Z, Head of the Department, Indian School Muscat. The resource person conducted a series of interactive activities focusing on managing emotions, key interpersonal skills, and active listening practices.
The session emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence in fostering positive relationships, enhancing communication, and creating a supportive learning environment.
The programme proved to be a valuable and enriching experience, enabling teachers to reflect on their emotional responses and strengthen their interpersonal and communication skills for professional growth.
