World Students’ Day is celebrated on 15th October every year to honor the birth anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India and one of the nation’s most respected scientists.
Indian School Sohar celebrated World Students’ Day with great enthusiasm and respect for Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam’s life and achievements. The program began with a Thought for the Day, highlighting one of Dr. Kalam’s powerful messages followed by a special speech about Dr. Kalam’s life, his passion for learning and his vision for the youth.
Adding charm to the celebration, students dressed up as Dr. Kalam and presented some of his famous quotes.
A special PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) was also shown. It highlighted important milestones in his life, his scientific achievements and his vision for education and the youth.
The celebration of World Students’ Day in the school was both inspiring and educational. It reminded us of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam’s extraordinary journey and his constant encouragement to students to dream big and work hard. The program motivated everyone to follow his ideals and strive for excellence in life.
