Indian School Sohar celebrated Oman National Day 2025 on 20th November with great pride and joy. The school campus was decorated in the colours of the Omani flag, creating a beautiful environment.
The morning assembly started with a prayer song. Thought for the Day was shared in both Arabic and English. Students presented a Melodious Arabic song appreciating the country followed by heyan English speech that highlighted the importance of Oman National Day.
The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, addressed the gathering and conveyed her warm wishes to the people of Oman. On behalf of Indian School Sohar, she extended greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and prayed for his good health and prosperity.
She appreciated the kindness and support of the Omani citizens and spoke about the strong friendship between India and Oman. She also thanked the Omani staff of the school for their cooperation and encouraged students to always be grateful and contribute positively to their second home, Oman.
The celebration reinforced the strong friendship between India and Oman and filled students with respect and gratitude towards this gracious nation.
