CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION – 2025

Indian School Sohar celebrated Children’s Day on 16th November 2025 with heartfelt enthusiasm, honouring the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his abiding affection for children. The celebration brought together students from Nursery to Class XII, reflecting the unity, diversity, and vibrancy of the school community.

The programme unfolded with a sense of dignity and joy, beginning with a solemn prayer that set a tone of harmony, followed by an inspiring Thought for the Day and a short reflective narrative for young learners. The event featured a wide array of performances that showcased the creative and artistic strengths of students across all sections. Melodious songs, expressive dance presentations, refined instrumental pieces, a graceful fashion showcase, and an engaging skit collectively transformed the day into a true celebration of childhood.

A special moment of pride was the felicitation of students who achieved laurels at the national level, motivating their peers to aspire, persevere, and dream beyond boundaries. The Principal’s address further encouraged the students to embrace excellence with integrity, optimism, and determination, emphasizing their vital role as future leaders and global citizens.

Representatives from the student body expressed gratitude to the school management and staff for their continued support in nurturing a joyful and enriching learning environment. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, instilling a deep sense of pride and patriotism.
