Christmas, a season of joy, laughter, and togetherness, brings smiles and warmth to every heart. Indian School Sohar came alive with joy and festive cheer as students and teachers came together to celebrate Christmas. The special assembly conducted on December 17, 2025, began on a happy note, with the hosts, Evana and Ahaana warmly welcoming everyone.
The celebration started with a peaceful Prayer Song by the school choir, which created a calm and joyful atmosphere. This was followed by the ‘Thought for the Day’ shared by Harris, reminding everyone about love, kindness, and sharing- the true spirit of Christmas. A short Christmas video was then shown, adding to the festive mood.
The students presented beautiful Christmas melodies, filling the hall with music and happiness. The programme continued with an energetic dance performance titled “Jingle & Jive”, which brought excitement and smiles to everyone present.
The gathering was then addressed by our respected Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, who shared her warm Christmas and new year wishes and encouraging words with the students. The successful planning and smooth conduct of the assembly were made possible under the guidance of the Section Supervisor, Dr. Alka Singh.
Ms. Michelle Lee and Ms. Kavitha T, were the coordinators.
The assembly ended with a Vote of Thanks by the School Discipline Captain, Mahira Garg, expressing gratitude to all who made the celebration successful. The Christmas celebration across sections reflected the spirit of the season, spreading joy, togetherness, and festive cheer, leaving everyone with happy hearts and beautiful memories.
