Indian School Sohar put up an impressive performance securing Bronze medals in the Under-19 Boys category in CBSE Oman Cluster Chess Tournament held at Indian School Al Maabela on the 8th and 9th of August 2025. The tournament saw participation from 16 Indian schools across the Sultanate of Oman, competing in the U-11, U-14, U-17, and U-19 categories for both boys and girls.
The Under-11 Boys’ team and the Under-19 &14 Girls’ team put forth a commendable performance, finishing in 4th position after displaying remarkable tactics and determination.
The tournament provided a platform for young chess enthusiasts to showcase their strategic skills, critical thinking, and competitive spirit.
The President and Members of the School Management Committee along with the Principal and staff extended their heartfelt congratulations to the players and their coach Mr. Nikhil More for bringing laurels to the school.
