“Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, and knowledge makes you great.” – Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
To encourage curiosity, creativity, and active learning beyond the usual classroom routine, Bagless Day was celebrated with great excitement across Grades III to V on June 4, 2025. The day turned classrooms into lively, student-centered spaces where different departments planned fun, curriculum-linked activities that gave students real-life learning experiences.
The English Department encouraged creativity through interesting tasks: Grade III made origami costumes inspired by ‘The Thrifty Tailor’; Grade IV shaped clay models of desserts from ‘Roly Poly Pudding’; and Grade V enjoyed grammar through a dice-based adverb game.
In Hindi, grammar practice became playful—Grade III took part in antonym challenges, Grade IV worked on changing gender forms, and Grade V explored plural forms through activities.
Mathematics was made fun with movement and games. Grade III learned division through shared activities, Grade IV explored angles with dance, and Grade V practiced multiples with the lively ‘Boom & Baam’ game.
In Science and EVS, hands-on activities brought concepts to life: Grade III made animal masks to talk about biodiversity, Grade IV played Freeze Dance to show States of Matter, and Grade V boosted their vocabulary through word challenges. In Social Science, poster-making on ‘Conserve Wildlife’ encouraged awareness of environmental care through catchy slogans and creative drawings.
The success of the event was made possible with the strong support and guidance of the school leadership—Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma, Vice-Principal Mr. Yashvir Singh, Assistant Vice-Principal Ms. Indira Sukumaran, and Supervisor Dr. Alka Singh—who ensured smooth planning and teamwork.
Bagless Day ended with an atmosphere of happiness, curiosity, and meaningful learning—reminding everyone that the best learning happens when it is experienced and joyfully remembered.
