EXPRESSION THROUGH WRITING: ENGLISH PARAGRAPH WRITING COMPETITION 2025-26

On August 21st, 2025, the English Department of Indian School Sohar successfully hosted an English Paragraph Writing Competition for students of Classes VI to VIII. The event, held under the guidance of the Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, and the Head of the Department, Ms. Divya Johari, aimed to encourage creativity and develop vital writing abilities.

The competition provided an exciting opportunity for budding thinkers to demonstrate their writing skills. Students developed their thoughts into meaningful words with amazing creativity, structure, and language. There was tremendous enthusiasm and confidence among the participants as they enhanced their writing skills and expressed their opinions.

After a rigorous evaluation process that considered content, originality, coherence, and language, the quality of the students’ work was found to be exceptionally high. The Principal, Vice-Principal, Assistant Vice-Principal, and the Head of the Department extended their sincere congratulations and appreciation to all the students for their enthusiastic participation, while also acknowledging the efforts of the English teachers for their effective coordination.

This event was more than a competition—it acted as a catalyst for students to refine their language skills and nurture their creativity. The evident enthusiasm and engagement among participants not only showcased their talents but also contributed to lasting academic and personal growth.
