On August 28, 2025, the Nursery to UKG section of Indian School Sohar joyfully celebrated Green Colour Day, highlighting the freshness, harmony, and vibrance that the colour green brings to life. The celebration aimed to enhance children’s cognitive development while helping them recognize and appreciate the beauty of the colour green through fun-filled learning experiences.
The tiny tots looked delightful in different shades of green, filling the surroundings with charm and cheer. Classrooms were decorated with creative green-themed displays, while teachers actively joined the excitement by guiding activities, singing rhymes, and creating an atmosphere of joy and learning.
The celebration featured engaging activities across classes—Leaf Printing for Nursery, Caterpillar Cutout Pasting and Colouring the Picture for LKG, and Ladyfinger Printing on a Tree Template for UKG. The little ones participated with great enthusiasm, enjoying each moment to the fullest.
The day not only reinforced colour recognition but also encouraged creativity, imagination, and an early appreciation for nature. The celebration concluded with happy faces, green-themed artworks, and a deeper love for the colour green.
