Indian School Sohar athletes showcased their determination and sporting prowess at the CBSE Oman Cluster Athletics Meet, held from 21st to 23rd August 2025. The event, organized by Indian School Muscat, saw the participation from 16 Indian schools across Oman, competing in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 boys and girls categories.
Among the standout performers from Indian School Sohar was Butool Mahdi Zaidi, who secured a silver medal in Shot Put and a bronze medal in Discus Throw. Another notable achievement came from Essakiammal Balasubramanian, who clinched a silver medal in the Under-17 High Jump event. These commendable performances reflect the hard work, discipline, and commitment of the athletes.
The coaching and guidance provided by Ms. Vaishnavi M. S. and Mr. Kamal Gurung played a vital role in this success.
The President, Members of the School Management Committee, Principal, staff, and students congratulated the medal winners for their remarkable achievements and for bringing pride to Indian School Sohar.
