Indian School Sohar had the honour of hosting a prestigious programme organized by the Ministry of Education for private schools on 13 April 2026 in the school auditorium. The event was attended by over 300 participants, including educators, school principals, and students from various private schools. A major highlight of the programme was the formal recognition and felicitation of eminent Omani teachers for their outstanding contributions to education, along with the notable achievements of their students.
The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, was also felicitated during the programme in recognition of her dedicated service and exemplary leadership. The event witnessed the presence of dignitaries, educators, and students from various schools.
The programme further showcased vibrant cultural performances by students, adding colour and enthusiasm to the occasion. It concluded on a celebratory note, reflecting a collective appreciation for excellence in education.
