A friendly basketball match was organized between the school’s Under-19 boys’ team and the alumni team of the school on 27 April 2026 at the school basketball court.
The event began with the Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, being introduced to the players. She motivated both the teams and emphasized the importance of organizing more such matches to provide valuable experience and strengthen the relationship between current students and alumni.
The school team was led by Naman Bhattacharya of Class XII, while the alumni team was captained by Sidambarisvarbala Murugan. The match was intensely contested, with both teams displaying excellent basketball skills and sportsmanship throughout. By the final whistle, Under-19 boys’ team had won the hard-fought match.
Mr. Kamal Gurung, HOD of Physical Education, officiated the match. He expressed his desire to organize more such games to allow alumni to relive their cherished memories.
Under-19 Boys’ team: Naman Bhattacharya (Captain), Royden Goveas, Abhinav Hareesh, Bhavik Sai Bhuvis, Madhav R. Nair, Tanmaya Kumavat, Shashwat Upadhyay, Hamdan Vahedna and Tarang Pal.
Alumni Team: Sidambarisvarbala Murugan (Captain), Vasudev Pillai, Nitin Gladson, Ayush, Abhradeep & Pilladi Lakshya
