Sudoku is a fun and engaging number puzzle that challenges the mind and sharpens logical thinking skills. The Mathematics Department of Indian School Sohar organized the preliminary round of the Sudoku Competition on April 27th 2026 for the students of Class III.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and determination, showcasing their ability to analyze patterns and apply critical thinking strategies. The competition was thoughtfully designed to suit their level while still challenging their minds. A remarkable number of students demonstrated exceptional skills and 19 students were qualified for the final round on 04th May 2026.
Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, Asst. Vice Principal & HoD Mathematics, Ms. Indira Sukumaran and Primary Section Headmistress, Ms. Sheenam Samuel expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding achievements of the students. The teachers - in - charge of the competition were Ms. Sunitha Harikrishnan and Ms. Alice K. Thomas.
