Indian School Sohar participated in the CBSE Oman Cluster Table Tennis Tournament held at Indian School Muscat on 4th and 5th May 2026. The participants put forth exceptional performance, both in team and individual categories winning multiple medals and bringing great pride to the institution.
Individual Championships
U-14 Boys: Vihaan Shetty – Gold Medal
U-19 Girls: Pallavi Das – Silver Medal
U-17 Girls: Shubhreet Saini – Bronze Medal
U-17 Boys: Kiyansh Jignesh Shah – Bronze Medal
U-19 Boys: Visharad Khare – Bronze Medal

This commendable medal tally reflects the hard work, determination, and sporting spirit displayed by the students throughout the tournament.
The students were trained and guided by coach Mr. Nikhil More, who dedicated significant time and effort in preparing the players for the competition. Team Manager Ms. Sangita More ensured the smooth coordination and management of the teams during the tournament.
Adding to the pride of the school, Vihaan Shetty, Atharav Mishra, Dev Subhash Gupta, Taksheel P. Patel, and Pallavi Das have qualified to participate in the CBSE National Table Tennis Championship 2026–27, scheduled to be held at Podar World School in Sherkhi, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
The President, Members of the School Management Committee, Principal, staff, and students congratulated the winners and participants for exceptional achievement. Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma also extended her best wishes to the team for continued success in the upcoming CBSE National Table Tennis Championship.
