The CBSE Oman Cluster Basketball Tournament, organized by Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK), was held on 8th and 9th May 2026. Indian School Sohar participated enthusiastically in the U-14 and U-19 Boys and Girls categories.
The ISS teams displayed excellent teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Competing against strong opponents, our players gave a tough fight in every match and proudly secured bronze medals in the U-14 Boys, U-19 Boys, and U-19 Girls categories.
The tournament provided a fantastic platform for the players to showcase their basketball skills and gain valuable competitive experience. All the matches were electrifying, and our players gave their best possible efforts on the court.
The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, congratulated the medal winners and motivated them to sustain their efforts for further competitions. The teams were coached by Mr. Kamal Gurung, HOD Physical Education, assisted by Mr. Sachin Ali. The team manager was Mr. Priti Vyas.
