A special assembly was conducted on 14/9/15 for classes III-V to observe international day for preservation of Ozone layer in the school. In this regard, Devika student of class IV-B delivered a speech to spread awareness about depletion of ozone layer and the ways of preventing it. Students presented a model to highlight the urgent need for one and all to act and preserve the Ozone layer. An action song on “SAVE ELECTRICITY” was performed by students of class IV and class V which was an initiative of Green Gyan, the school’s Eco-club. Vice Principal Dr. Vinu Kumar , exhorted the students to understand the importance of preventing ozone layer depletion and to save electricity. He motivated the students to take a pledge to implement all possible measures to save mother Earth.
The initiative undertaken under the guidance of the Principal Mrs.Sanchita Verma and Vice Principal Dr. Vinu Kumar was highly appreciated for the lucidity of the message it conveyed. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
