The students of Indian School Sohar achieved remarkable success at the National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) 2026 – Oman National-Level Screening Round, held on 22 May 2026 at Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir (Senior School).
A total of 28 teams (15 Senior Category and 13 Junior Category) participated under the focal theme “Science and Innovation for Sustainability.” Our students earned the following recognitions:
Junior Category
• Samanvi Sathyajith & Shreshta Kiran Cholachgudda – Awarded A+ (Outstanding Project) and received special recognition for Best Logbook & Documentation.
• Aareev Singh Verma & Parthiv Arora – Received an Honourable Mention for Best Field Investigation.
Senior Category
• Tejus Surepally & Madhav R. Nair – Received an Honourable Mention for Best Engineering & Prototype.
These achievements reflect the students’ scientific aptitude, innovation, dedication, and hard work. The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the participants and their mentors for bringing laurels to the institution.
