An IT Skills Development Session was conducted at Indian School Sohar on 2nd March 2026 and 4th March 2026 from 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 a.m., with Ms. Jinu Raghavan (faculty member) serving as the resource person. The session aimed to enhance the digital competencies of the teachers by providing practical training in essential ICT tools and modern educational technologies, thereby supporting effective classroom instruction and administrative work. On the first day, the session focused on Smart Board operations along with Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Word and MS Excel, enabling teachers to effectively utilize these applications for documentation and data management.
The second day concentrated on presentation tools, mainly MS PowerPoint, along with creative digital platforms that can support engaging classroom presentations and learning materials. The two-day session proved to be highly informative and interactive, significantly strengthening the participants’ confidence in using digital tools for teaching and school-related activities. The training contributed positively to promoting the integration of technology in classroom practices at Indian School Sohar.
