An online guidance session titled “Beyond the Pause” was conducted for the students of Class XII (2025–26) on 16 March 2026 at 5:00 p.m. by Indian School Sohar following the recent announcement by the Central Board of Secondary Education regarding the cancellation of the Class XII Board Examinations.
The session was addressed by the Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, who reassured students that their hard work and preparation would not go in vain and that this unexpected disruption would not affect their future opportunities. She also guided students on the procedures for obtaining Transfer Certificates, bona fide certificates, and other important documents, advising them to plan their next steps in consultation with their parents.
The School Counsellor, Ms. Anu, spoke about maintaining emotional well-being, encouraging students to stay positive, maintain healthy routines, and remain connected with their teachers and peers.
Students were also advised to complete the exit survey and alumni form, activate their digital lockers, and keep digital and physical copies of all important documents. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students’ queries were addressed.
The webinar provided clarity, reassurance, and guidance as students prepare for the next phase of their academic journey.
