In the holy month of Ramadan, a time that embodies fasting, compassion, and prayer, Samarpan Club, the community service club of Indian School Sohar, organized an Iftar Distribution Programme on 3rd March 2026. The initiative was undertaken to share the spirit and values of Ramadan with Omani staff and private bus drivers of the school, while strengthening bonds of unity, goodwill, and mutual respect among all members of the school community.
Expressing sincere appreciation for the continuous support and goodwill extended by the Omani community to the Indian community and educational institutions in Oman, Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma conveyed her heartfelt gratitude. She also acknowledged the dedicated service of the private bus drivers and reminded them of the importance of maintaining strict safety and security measures while performing their responsibilities.
The Iftar distribution was carried out under the leadership of Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, along with Vice Principal, Mr. Yashvir Singh, the Assistant Vice Principal and Samarpan Club Coordinator, Ms. Indira Sukumaran, and members of the Samarpan Club. On this occasion, they conveyed their warm greetings and wishes for a blessed Ramadan to the Omani staff, private bus drivers, OIG staff, and all other guests present.
