As Winston Churchill rightly said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
To nurture this compassion and promote the true spirit of altruism, the Green Gyan Eco Club of Indian School Sohar organised a ‘Clothes Donation Drive’ from Thursday, October 29, 2026, to Sunday, November 1, 2026.
Students and staff from Classes KG to XII enthusiastically participated in the initiative by generously donating clothes, blankets, bags, and other essential items in good condition. The event was coordinated by Mr. Kamal Gurung, Ms. Saima Ahmad and Ms. Michelle Rodrigues. The Eco Club members and student volunteers actively participated in sorting, packing, and safely loading the collected donations onto the truck for transportation.
The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, appreciated the Green Gyan Eco Club for organising this noble initiative and commended about the dedicated efforts of coordinators, members, and volunteers. The drive served as a meaningful opportunity to instil the values of kindness, empathy, generosity, and social responsibility among students.
The Green Gyan Eco Club extends its heartfelt gratitude to all parents, staff members, and students for their generous contributions and continued support, which made the Clothes Donation Drive a grand success.
