Indian School Sohar organised the participation of 40 students in a Virtual Phad Painting Workshop on 12.08.26 conducted by the Embassy of India, Muscat celebrating India’s 80th Independence Day.
The students enthusiastically participated in the workshop and enjoyed learning about Phad painting, Rajasthan’s traditional narrative art form. Guided through each stage of the creative process, they made beautiful elephant paintings in the distinctive Phad style. The engaging session offered them a valuable opportunity to explore India’s rich artistic heritage while developing their creativity and artistic skills.
The programme was coordinated by the Art Department under the guidance of Ms. Tushith Naveen, Ms. Kashifa Anjum and Mr. Rajesh Kumar.
Indian School Sohar sincerely appreciates the Embassy of India, Muscat and ICCR for this enriching cultural initiative.
