On August 20, 2026, the Suraksha - Safety Club of Indian School Sohar successfully organized a Bicycle Safety Awareness Programme aimed at educating students on vital road safety rules. The event was graced by the Principal and Club Patron Ms. Sanchita Verma, the Vice-Principal and Club President Mr. Yashvir Singh, Asst. Vice-Principal Ms. Indira Sukumaran, Club Supervisor Mr. Kamal Gurung, and Club Coordinator Mr. Sachin Ali.
Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma solemnly administered a safety pledge to commitment to road safety. In her address, she urged all students to wear helmets and safety jackets, check their cycle brakes and tire air pressure before every ride and consistently use hand signals for turning and stopping. The energetic Safety Club volunteers actively engaged the students through impactful safety slogans.
The insightful session successfully reinforced a culture of safe and responsible cycling among students.
