EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO ASTER HOSPITAL

The Class XII Biology students of Indian School Sohar visited Aster Hospital on 9 September 2026 to explore its advanced Robotic Rehabilitation Facility.

Students observed how robotic technology supports the rehabilitation of patients with paralysis, brain injuries and neurological conditions, and assists children with autism and elderly patients in improving movement, balance, and coordination. The visit provided valuable practical exposure to the application of robotics in modern healthcare.

The visit was organised by the Science Department under the guidance of Ms. Nisha Sobti, HoD with the support and encouragement of Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma.

Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of such educational visits in connecting classroom learning with real-life advancements in science and healthcare.
