AI COMPETITION: NURTURING TOMORROW’S TECHNOLOGY INNOVATORS

The Department of Computer Science hosted a highly successful AI Competition for students of Classes VI to XII, fostering technological innovation and creative problem-solving. The event showcased the exceptional talents of young innovators under the visionary leadership of Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, Vice Principal, Mr. Yashvir Singh, Assistant Vice Principal, Ms. Indira Sukumaran, and HOD of Computer Science, Ms. Deepa Dinesh.

The competition encouraged students to explore the world of Artificial Intelligence, develop innovative thinking, and apply their knowledge creatively to real-world problems. Participants demonstrated strong understanding, creativity, and presentation skills across two distinct categories.

The successful execution of the event was driven by dedicated faculty in-charges. Mr. Hitendra Kaushik carefully planned and coordinated the competition for Classes VI–VIII, while Mr. Sudarshan Gupta provided guidance and coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the competition for Classes IX–XII.

A distinguished panel of judges evaluated the projects based on innovation, creativity, application of AI concepts, relevance, technical understanding, and presentation.

For Classes VI–VIII, the evaluation was conducted by Ms. Anu Krishna, Ms. Larissa Steven Fernandes, and Ms. Sudha Pitchiah. The projects and presentations of Classes IX–XII were assessed by Ms. Anu Krishna, Mr. Kannan Raghavan, and Mr. Hitendra Kaushik. The valuable observations and constructive feedback greatly encouraged the participants to further develop their ideas and skills.

In recognition of the outstanding achievements, the Principal awarded certificates to the winners during the school assembly and extended heartfelt congratulations to all participants. Their achievements reflect dedication, teamwork, and the effective application of Artificial Intelligence concepts. The Department of Computer Science looks forward to organizing more initiatives that nurture curiosity and technological awareness.

  • Third Position: Aariz Sarfaraz (XII B), Muhammad Afroz Ali (XI E), and Mohammed Zaid (XI C)
