Innovians Technologies from India organized a workshop on Hovercraft & Water Robot at Indian School Sohar on Friday 3rd June 2016 and Saturday 4th June 2016.The workshop aimed to provide a platform where young students could mould their imagination into reality and feel the excitement first hand. 107 students from V to XI participated enthusiastically in the workshop.
At the end of the workshop, a small competition was organized. Students were able to design and modify the model using their own imaginations. The winning team was given Certificate of Excellence and the participants were given Certificates of Merit.
The school Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma affirmed that this workshop would prove useful for the students as it teaches basic life skills such as problem solving, decision making, goal setting and logical thinking.
Ms. Indira S (coordinator of the programme) profusely thanked all the staff members for making it a grand success and the Resource Person Mr. Prateek Gupta and his team for conducting the workshop, which provided a direction to the students to know their aptitudes in this direction.
