A First Aid training programme was organized in school for classes IX and X on 3rd and 6th of November, 2016. It was introduced by our Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma as a part of co-scholastic activities. The programme was supported by experts from a leading hospital. Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma addressed the session.
The training programme provided students with an understanding of emergency procedures. It imparted theoretical and practical knowledge about CPR, an understanding of how to respond to specific injuries and illness was portrayed through a power point presentation. The mock drill performed by students made the session more interactive and interesting. The skills that children acquired would surely equip them to deal with emergency situations and it can fortify the safety of one’s own self and their fellow beings.
The programme ended with a thanks giving note by Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma and the Section Supervisor Mrs. Nisha Aravind. Mementos were presented to the trainers.
