Preliminary round of Muscat Codex interschool quiz competition X-Quiz-itz 2016 was held in the school on 26th October, 2016. The competition which was aimed at developing the knowledge and excellence base among the students through a healthy and highly motivating meet was exuberating, enlightening and engaging. The quiz masters Mr. Fayaz and Mr. Mithun made it more exciting for the students. Separate sessions were held for juniors and seniors and five teams from each have qualified for the Mega Prelims to be held in Muscat.
Quiz Master, Mr. Hala Jamal of Muscat Codex conducted the final round of the General Quiz for classes VI-VIII on the same day. Among the four teams, the team ‘BRAIN TEASERS’ consisting of Aryan Bhadoo(VIII D), Rohit Tomer(VII A) and Sree Sankar Pradeep(VI D) emerged as the winners. Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma addressed the students and emphasized the importance of gaining general knowledge by reading newspaper, books, watching news etc. Supervisor, Mrs. Indira Sukumaran delivered the Vote of Thanks.
