A CELEBRATION OF CHILDHOOD

15-11-2016

Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th November 2016 at ISS. The day commemorating the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was marked by a floral tribute to the great statesmen who loved children.

Teachers of all the sections presented enthusiastic performances, interspersed with elements of surprise, which lit up the faces of the students with joy. It was a memorable event for all the children to see their teachers dressed differently and performing cultural programmes. The school reflected a festive atmosphere as the children came in colour dress and the spirit of childhood was enjoyed by one and all.

Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma addressed the students and spoke about the relevance of childhood as the foundation period of life, which would be remembered forever. She inspired the students to enjoy every moment and make memories which they would cherish. Students were given chocolates to make the day sweeter.
