Amidst the whatsapp and twitter’s popular minimized form of writing, spelling with discipline continues to spell its cast on the young minds. Indian School Sohar continuing the tradition of the spell bee competition, held spell bee 2017-18 on 20th of April for the current academic year. The encouraging response showcased the admiration of the disciplined language in the young minds. The students of class III-V participated in the three stimulating rounds of the spell bee with great zeal and enthusiasm. The competitors proved their mettle in the sphere of “spell it right”, homonyms, “form the words” and the visual display round where they had to identify, pronounce and spell the displayed objects.
