Indian School Sohar celebrated Teachers’ day with great pomp and glory. The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma along with the Vice-Principal, Dr. Vinu Kumar offered flowers at the portrait of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan as a tribute to the great educationist of India. The teachers lighted the lamp and they were given beautiful cards made by the students under the guidance of the Student Council.  The melodious songs and the energetic dances dedicated to the teachers reflected the love and affection they hold for the them. The Principal addressed the gathering and congratulated the teachers for moulding the next generation into worthy and responsible citizens. The teachers appreciated the efforts of the Student Council and the students, and were overwhelmed by the enthusiastic expression of their love and affection.

                                    On 8th September, the School Management Committee hosted a felicitation ceremony for the staff. The President of SMC, Mr., Abraham George addressed the gathering and congratulated the teachers for their efforts to build up the nation through the worthy students they shape.  It brought forth an ambiance of joy and jubilance. The teachers put forth various programmes including dances, songs, fashion shows etc. The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma encouraged the teachers to go ahead successfully on the path of this noble the vocation. On the completion of five years as the Principal of Indian School Sohar, Mrs. Sanchita Verma was awarded a beautiful plaque for her outstanding and exceptional contribution towards the excellent progress of the school in the last five years, when she led the school from the forefront as its Principal. The staff and students congratulate her for this great achievement. The Vice-Principal Dr. Vinu Kumar acknowledged gratitude towards the SMC and the Principal for the wonderful day.
