A special assembly was conducted on 14th of August 2017, by the students of class V E. The festive flavor of shri Krishna janmashtmi was brought on stage with all its warmth and avidity. The assembly started with the prayer song and thought for the day, sequenced by wishing a happy & long life to the children celebrating their birthday. An illustrious classical dance was performed by the students of class VE depicting “baal-leela” and “Raas” of Lord Krishna.
Next on the roll was the prize distribution for the events of Sudoku & English Calligraphy Competition. Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma congratulated the winners and encouraged other students for a massive participation in such events. Madam Principal in her speech, commemorated the Quit India Movement and its relevance. She urged the students and staff join hands to eradicate the bad practices and portray the Indian culture in a gleaming light outside the country. She also urged the new generation to value the freedom and perform the duties they are meant to. The assembly dispersed with the national anthem.
