“Green Gyan” Eco Club of Indian School Sohar organized a “Cloth Donation Drive” on 23rd November for classes III - XII to encourage students to work for a good cause and to understand the importance of community service. The drive was inaugurated by the Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma through her generous contribution towards this noble cause. She also appreciated the efforts of the staff and the students.
Students and staff turned out in large number to donate clothes, bed sheets, bags, shoes etc. This donation made a big difference to the individuals who are struggling to make ends meet.
This drive will be helpful in inculcating charitable habits in students.
A special thanks to all the parents for encouraging their wards who came forward for this good cause.
