Indian School Sohar hosted a friendly Basket Ball match against Al Batinah International School on 25th January, 2018. The Principal of Indian School Sohar, Mrs. Sanchita Verma inaugurated the match and encouraged both the teams and hoped this exposure will help them in the upcoming tournaments. The Coach of Al Batinah International School Mr. Michael accompanied the team.
The match of U-15 Boys culminated in a draw as both the teams scored 27 points each. The tough match against strong opponents was worth watching. Both the teams were quite jubilant. But ABIS emerged winners in the match of U-15 Girls. The winners were applauded and encouraged. The occasion provided each team an opportunity to learn more tactics and to understand their strong holds as well as weaknesses.
