SPELL BEE COMPETITION FOR CLASSES III - V

13-05-2018

Spell Bee Competition was conducted in Indian School Sohar for the classes III to V on 29th April 2018. It was held with an intention to enhance the reading habits of children and to give profound relevance to the words they read. The brain activity and excitement that goes with a Spell Bee boosts their confidence and offers them a platform to showcase their talent in public speaking as well. The activity in-charge was Ms. Vidhya Dhanil.

The valuable learning outcome of Spell Bee helps the children in gaining competency over vocabulary and this allows them to excel at reading and writing. Spellers equip themselves with the tools to reach a higher writing level and the ability to manipulate language. Their knowledge generally helps them to become great readers as well, enjoying a wide range of literature and reading material often beyond their years.
