A workshop on ‘Activities to Promote Holistic Development in Young Children’ was conducted by Dr. Subhadra Prabhu, Human Development Expert (School Counselor) for Teachers of KG – Grade II on 26th July 2018. During the workshop they were oriented about the need and methods of incorporating several activities (manipulative; music and movement; circle time; storytime and creative games) in the daily schedule of young children that would promote their physical, socio-emotional, language and cognitive development. The teachers engaged themselves actively in the workshop as ‘learning by doing’ method was adopted.
