Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) and National Olympiad foundation (NOF) conducts various Olympiads to inspire young minds through knowledge Olympiads. Our school has been participating in Commerce Olympiad, General knowledge Olympiad, National Cyber Olympiad, National Science Olympiad, International Mathematics Olympiad and International English Olympiad for last 6 years and students of our school have emerged as winners in various categories. They bagged medals, trophies, academic books, gift vouchers, cash prizes, certificates, gifts etc. according to their merits in school/international levels.
Indian School Sohar is declared THE BEST SCHOOL by National Olympiad foundation in recognition of the performance of our students in the Olympiads 2017-18.
In recognition to the outstanding contribution to the cause of education and of the excellent leadership and initiatives of our Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma , she is bestowed THE BEST PRINCIPAL award in International zone , for the year 2017 -18 by both SOF and NOF.
Mrs. Indira Sukumaran, coordinator for SOF received the award of THE BEST TEACHER in the SOF National Science Olympiad in International Zone for the year 2017-18 .
Mrs. Reji and Mrs. Aji , coordinator for NOF received THE BEST COORDINATOR AWARD for the year 2017-18
Principal appreciated and congratulated the whole team of teachers who supported in organizing various Olympiads successfully and achieving noteworthy performances of the participants.
