WORLD STUDENTS’ DAY

The world celebrates Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary as students’ day, in honour of the man who always wished to be remembered as a teacher and who has made himself approachable to more than 18 million youngsters over the last 15 years of his life. A special assembly was conducted on 15th October, 2018 by the students of class V to commemorate the same. The assembly started by offering a floral tribute to Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, by the Vice Principal, Dr Vinu Kumar and the Supervisor Ms Alka Singh, followed by the prayer song, thought for the day, news and a motivational speech on our ex-President’s life. The presence of the stereotype of Dr. Abdul Kalam fascinated the audience. The group song echoed in the hearts of the student audience and the scintillating dance performance caught the attention of many as it was a portrayal of students’ lives. Dr Vinu Kumar, the Vice Principal addressed the gathering and elucidated about the life of The Missile Man of India who was a perfect blend of simplicity and devotion. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
