The volunteers of Green Gyan-Eco Club of Indian School Sohar are determined to take a vow to keep our host country Oman–Cleaner and Greener by recycle waste.
To accomplish this student of classes III-V participated in a campaign to collect waste papers, newspapers, books, magazines and drop it in the paper recycle bin installed in the school premises on 7th October 2018.
The drive was initiated by the Club Coordinator Mr. Kamal Prasad Gurung and Section Coordinator Ms. Saima Ahmad.
The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma and the Section Supervisor, Ms. Alka Singh also encouraged young volunteers to participate and spread the message of recycling paper waste in your neighborhood and help in saving the environment.
The response of the students was overwhelming which made this campaign a great successful one by collecting one ton of paper wastes.
