TUX PAINT DRAWING COMPETITION

“When you take technology and mix it with art, you always come up with something innovative.”

Drawing plays a big role in our cognitive development. It can help us to write and think creatively and develop eye- hand coordination. The blend of art and technology gives a magical outcome.

 TUX Paint Drawing Competition was conducted by the Computer Science department of Indian School Sohar on 30th October 2018 for the students of Class III. TUX Paint software is a free drawing program designed for young kids to enhance their talent using technology. The activity in charge was Ms. Meenakshi Satapathy. 36 students participated in the competition and were given 45 minutes to draw the picture by using different tools of the software.

The following students were adjudged the winners of the competition.

Tasneem Murtaza Lakdawala (III D) bagged the First Position. Ryan Santhosh Paul (III I) secured the Second Position and Avaneesh Sudarshan Gupta (III H) secured the Third Position.
