Under 14 years Girls & Boys Badminton team of Indian School Sohar participated in the School Olympic Days Tournament for Boys & Girls held on 31st March to 2nd April 2019 at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, Bousher, Muscat organized by Oman Ministry of Sports Affairs. Students from various government and private schools participated in the tournament. The young shuttlers Ms. Nithya Ajayan of class IX procured bronze medal and Mr. Aditya Varshney of Class IX procured Silver medal. Shuttlers were trained by Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Physical Education Teacher, ISS. Special training sessions and friendly matches were conducted at Sohar Sports Complex to gain more experience and build confidence in the players.
Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma congratulated the coach and the players for their achievements.
